Kara Behnke received a BA in Japanese studies and Chinese Mandarin from CU Boulder and an MA certificate in game design from Michigan State University. During her time in the ATLAS PhD program, she used a variety of tools to teach STEM education, including blended and online learning environments, game design, mobile apps development and hackathons. After graduation, she was hired as a sr. teaching and learning specialist at Coursera.聽
