As a community outreach program manager, Lisa supportsÌýfaculty, staff and students in the development ofÌýpartnerships and program strategies for work with communities around Colorado. SheÌýleads our office'sÌýarts and humanities initiativeÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýcommunity development and design initiative, andÌýtheÌýengaged arts and humanities graduate student scholars programÌý(EAH scholars). Lisa also co-manages the office's community impact and micro grants andÌýcommunity engagement coffee hoursÌýand authorsÌýengaged scholars interviews.

Lisa has a doctorate in education from the University of Arizona, and was a postdoctoral researcherÌýand research director in the CU Boulder School of Education before joining the Office for Outreach and EngagementÌýin 2016. Lisa has longstanding experience as an outreach professional, educator, educational researcher and social scientist. In her prior work, Lisa designed and researched digitally mediated learning environments and educational resourcesÌýthat leveragedÌýuniversity and community resources.ÌýLisa’sÌýÌýworkÌýfocuses on STEM/STEAM, new media/new and multimodal literacies, and community/school gardens with learners of all ages and a focus on Latino and lower-income communities. While committed to living in the American West, Lisa also has lived in Latin America and Europe.ÌýLisa’s multidisciplinaryÌýexperience serves her well in her current endeavors.Ìý
