Students Hold Vigil for Borgmann Computing Lab

Students hold candles in a dark computer lab

Students held a midnight vigil to pay tribute to "the Borg," the Borgmann Computing Lab that has long been the home-away-from-home of many ChBE seniors and juniors. While the Borg is being removed as part of the Engineering Center renovation, innovative collaboration and computer spaces will give students new areas to make memories.

The lab was named for the late Carl Borgmann, an alumnus, former department chair and recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award (1968) and the George Norlin Award (1973) from CU Boulder.
