Associate Professor of Literacy Studies sj Miller was voted unanimously onto the Board of Trustees聽of the . As stated in its mission, "Lambda Literary believes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer literature is fundamental to the preservation of our culture, and that LGBTQ lives are affirmed when our stories are written, published and read." As a member of the board, Professor Miller will participate in governance, fundraising, and the聽selection of Lambda Literary's prestigious awards for outstanding LGBTQ聽literature.

Professor Miller, who also has expertise in bullying, is giving an invited lecture聽at on October 27th in Keene, NH, entitled "Understanding, Interrupting, and Shifting the Tides of Bullying for Generation Bullied 2.0."
