Kelly Lewis is a Senior Graduate Program Advisor in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering.聽Kelly joined our college in September 2019 as a Senior Graduate Program Advisor bringing seven years of higher education and student recruitment experience to the department. Kelly is a Colorado native and third-generation University of Colorado alumni. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Education: College Counseling from the University of Redlands. Kelly is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.聽

What is your motto?

Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.

What鈥檚 something most people don鈥檛 know about you?

I moved to San Diego in the summer of 2005 with the goal of learning to surf. While I never really learned to surf, I did learn the 鈥渇riend鈥� I moved there with would become my future husband.聽

My current favorites on Netflix are The Good Place, Pose, and Community.聽

What do you most like to do to unwind?

Play with my girls (Sophia age 6 and Madison age 2). There is nothing better for the soul than little kid giggles and squeals of pure happiness. They keep me balanced and grounded.聽
