CU Boulder researchers have developed a new approach to designing more sustainable buildings with help from some of the tiniest contractors out there.

CU Boulder鈥檚 manufacturing class has been revamped to bring the manufacturing process to life for students with input from industry representatives. They uncovered a need leading to five guest speakers, nine company tours, a manufacturing industry panel and a variety of active learning opportunities.

On this edition of On CUE, Interim Dean Keith Molenaar talks about his priorities for the future of the college and how he feels about stepping into the new role. Molenaar also outlines his priorities for the future of our college, including maintaining consistency with the goals, vision and culture that Bobby Braun put in place during his tenure here over the last three years.

The first-place team will receive a $10,000 scholarship award.

CU Boulder gave World War II veteran Bill Jann (MechEngr鈥�49) a fresh start after he returned from combat. He went on to work on the Pershing Weapon System during the Cold War.
