Congratulations to EVEN Team S3听!
The Environmental Engineering Program at CU Boulder听team鈥檚 design proposal has won first place for its submission, Mycoremediation Applications for Stormwater Management, in the Airport Environmental Interactions design challenge category of the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) University Design Competition for Addressing Airport Needs.听The selection was made by a panel of industry, FAA, and academic experts.听 The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) manages the Design Competition on behalf of the ACRP.
The winning team is composed of EVEN Senior Students听Erica Wiener, Grayson Bender, Melanie Dickison, Austin Bennett, Leopold Kisielinski and Kevin Cooper.
Christopher Corwin, EVEN instructor, served as faculty听advisor of the听Design Team S3.
The听team will present their work at the Academies on the morning of听Aug. 11, 2016, and then present their designs as the keynote luncheon speakers at the Airport听Consultants Council (ACC) Airports Technical Workshop in Washington, D.C., the same day.
