S3 TeamCongratulations to EVEN Team S3Ìý!

The Environmental Engineering Program at CU BoulderÌýteam’s design proposal has won first place for its submission, Mycoremediation Applications for Stormwater Management, in the Airport Environmental Interactions design challenge category of the Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) University Design Competition for Addressing Airport Needs.ÌýThe selection was made by a panel of industry, FAA, and academic experts.Ìý The Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) manages the Design Competition on behalf of the ACRP.

The winning team is composed of EVEN Senior StudentsÌýErica Wiener, Grayson Bender, Melanie Dickison, Austin Bennett, Leopold Kisielinski and Kevin Cooper.
Christopher Corwin, EVEN instructor, served as facultyÌýadvisor of theÌýDesign Team S3.

TheÌýteam will present their work at the Academies on the morning ofÌýAug. 11, 2016, and then present their designs as the keynote luncheon speakers at the AirportÌýConsultants Council (ACC) Airports Technical Workshop in Washington, D.C., the same day.
