Delivered by CAWSTÌýand hosted by Healing Waters

What this training offers:ÌýThis workshop gives you the knowledge and skills you need to effectively protect and promote human health and well-being by providing a clean environment and breaking the cycle of disease. This training takes a broader look at the community and addresses different, but interconnected, aspects, including human and animal excreta management, solid waste management, vector control and domestic wastewater management.

Who should take this training?ÌýThis workshop is ideal for individuals or groups working on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) projects and programs, especially those seeking tools and knowledge to resolve environmental sanitation issues. This is an introductory-level workshop and is not intended for those already trained in environmental sanitation. The workshop is, however, equally valuable as an introduction for field workers, program organizers and project managers who are new to the topic. This workshop is especially valuable for participants who have funding in place to begin project implementation and internal organizational support to incorporate environmental sanitation in their projects and communities.
