The Colorado Lake and Reservoir Management Association is looking to increase their student membership. The organization has two conference luncheons, usually held in Westminster, each year. They are specifically targeting students with career interests in aquatic ecology, water quality, water resources and lake management- though they encourage any student to be a member! ÌýThese luncheons provide opportunities for students to present their research and can be an excellent opportunity for networking for future job prospects. They are an affiliate of the North American Lake Management Society, and provide opportunities for students to get involved with that organization as well.

If theyÌýget student interest this year we are planning to offer a small scholarship for the best student presentation! Their current membership consists of mostly municipalities in the area and some consulting firms, so there are a great amount of networking opportunities even if students choose not to present. Additionally, a yearlong membership for students is only $10, so it is easy for student to try out and see if they like it!Ìý
