Graduate student Alec Thomas gave a poster on lung surfactant microbubbles at the 2018 European Contrast Ultrasound Symposium in Rotterdam.

Prof. Borden gave an invited talk at the International Congress on Ultrasonics in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was an honor to participate in this excellent series of sessions on cavitation organized by Michel Versluis and Tom Matula.

Prof. Borden gave a workshop on ultrasound and photoacoustic imaging at the Anschutz Medical Center鈥檚 Small Animal Imaging Workshop . We very much enjoyed the opportunity to share our work and meet new colleagues and collaborators.

Prof. Borden gave a seminar on ultrasound drug delivery for the School of Biomedical Engineering at Colorado State University . They have a well-designed BME program and beautiful new building that should serve as a model for other universities.

We were pleased to host Assistant Professor Rik Vos from Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam for a fantastic seminar on ultrasound elastography imaging of the heart. Fascinating and ambitious work!

Professor Piero Tortoli from the University of Florence came to Boulder to give a superb seminar. It was wonderful to enjoy a couple days with this illustrious guest.

Graduate student Jordan Lum gave a presentation entitled 鈥淪ingle Microbubble Measurements of Temperature Dependent Viscoelastic Properties鈥� at the IEEE International Ultrasound Symposium in Washington DC. Congrats to Jordan for an excellent talk!
