Almost a year ago we ended up cancelling our group Ski Day due to the growing uncertainty and discomfort relating to Covid-19. Shortly after, the ski resorts were closed,听the campus switched to remote operations, and all of us went into lockdown. For me, the day of our cancelled ski trip (March 15, 2020) marks the first time that Covid-19 had a direct impact on my personal way of life.
A lot has changed since then, but it is with great pleasure that I'm announcing that this year we will be hitting the slopes for a much-needed breath of fresh air. The format will be different from usual (for one, it will just be the ROCC lab as opposed to the entire S&C group), but hopefully it will mark a turn for the better.
With all that in mind:听grab a mask,听mark your calendars for March 5th, and I'll see you at Arapahoe Basin!
