It's that time of the year again: new students are coming to campus and wanting to discover the beauty of Colorado. So, we're back to my favorite hike: on Monday, August 19th, join us for a 4:30 am wake-up to see a beatiful sunrise over Brainard Lake, followed by a leisurely hike to Lake Isabelle and a delicious lunch in聽Nederland.
Last time we did this hike (2021), we saw a bald eagle chilling on a treetop overlooking the lake and a very close (maybe a bit "too close") moose. No guarantee we'll see either on this hike, but I what I can guarantee are chipmonks, pikas, and marmots!
