Mohammad Allouzi
Ph.D. Student
Environmental Engineering

Mohammad Allouzi joined the group in Summer 2023 as a Ph.D. student in the Environmental Engineering Department at CU Boulder. He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the American University of Madaba, Jordan and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Dresden University of Applied Sciences, Germany. In his master’s work, he investigated the permeation of micropollutants in nanofiltration membranes at the Institute for Advanced Membrane Technology (IAMT, KIT, Germany). During his postgraduate career at IAMT, Mohammad worked on the photocatalytic degradation of micropollutants by reactive membranes. Currently, he is studying the mechanisms contributing to species permeation in nanoporous membranes. Mohammad enjoys live music and stays active with biking or hiking.
