Swati joined the Toney group in November 2019 and is co-advised by Dr. William Chueh at Stanford University. She is studying the effect of the solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on (de)intercalation kinetics in graphite electrodes for lithium-ion batteries using electrochemical and x-ray characterization techniques.
