Research

I am broadly interested in studying molecular mechanisms relevant to water treatment and source water protection. Most of my research experience is in water purification membranes and I am currently studying membranes for wastewater reuse. A new research area for me is to explore the merits of ecological sanitation and source separation as an alternative to conventional centralized waste management, particularly for producing soil amendments. I am interested in how changes to soil structure and nutrient interactions in amended soils impact nutrient leaching.

Education

M.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Colorado - Boulder (2022)

B.S. Chemical Engineering, University of Kentucky - Lexington (2020)

Fun facts

When Trisha is not in lab you can find her hiking, camping, or going to music festivals and shows. Her favorite musical artist is Billy Strings.
