As part of a weekend honoring diverse women composers, join us for a full orchestration of 鈥淪even Miniatures for Piano鈥� comprising seven standalone pieces鈥攅ach of which reveals different facets of Florence Price鈥檚 creative personality. CU Boulder student and alumni composers completed the orchestrations.

On Nov. 15, the CU Philharmonia Orchestra will present diverse works by Jessica Mays, Maurice Ravel and Felix Mendelssohn.

鈥淲e have a real opportunity to use the American Music Research Center as a uniting force to bring together people of different cultures, ethnicities, perspectives and walks of life. I see this [DEI] work as not only educational, but as a strategy to improve the environment in which persons of color are pursuing their educations at CU Boulder.鈥�
