Jeffrey Nonnemacher

Jeffrey Nonnemacher joined the Political Science department at CU in 2024. He earned his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2024 and his BA in political science and international affairs from the University of Colorado in 2019. Jeffrey’s research focuses on the political behavior of voters and parties and how the two respond to each other in West Europe. Currently, his work focuses on the relationship between inequality and partisan preferences and how voters respond to increasingly transnational party politics. His work has been published inÌýEuropean Union Politics,ÌýJournal of Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties (JEPOP),ÌýParty Politics,ÌýandÌýWest European Politics.ÌýHe teaches courses in American Politics and Comparative Politics. When not working, he is either at an Avs game or exploring the mountains.
