Changing Perspectives is a virtual experience which allows its users to be transported from their current reality and into a world of unique vantage points around Boulder, Colorado. After exploring my favorite locations around Boulder, I shot 3D-360 degree footage on the Insta360 Pro camera. Paired with immersive sounds to enhance the environment, this project aims to allow people to escape their lives for a brief moment in time. Catering to a form of therapy called “palliative care”, Changing Perspectives may heighten the wellbeing of its user. I have captured an array of different locations which allows people to remain engaged as they flip through the content. I believe the 360° aspect may support the nostalgic nature of being there in person, where you may find yourself standing upon a cliff ledge, or under a bridge while it's snowing.
