Hi! My name is Kaushik Kannan and I am a third year student in the Mechanical Engineering department at CU Boulder, pursuing minors in Applied Mathematics and Engineering Management, as well as Certificates in Engineering Leadership and Engineering Entrepreneurship. I was born and raised in Colorado. I am thrilled to begin my career as an ASME officer helping out with our events this semester! As a student, I am very passionate about education and enjoy thinking about how we can improve it for the future. Outside of school, I am passionate about cars, playing the bass guitar, and professional sports. I think ASME is an excellent starting point in connecting with students from my major and am excited to start getting involved in it!
