Thank you to everyone who has participated in theÌýBlack History Month Racial Equity #BeTheChange Challenge.ÌýPlease join in for an evening ofÌýpoetry and storytellingÌýtoÌýcelebrate the end of the #BeTheChange challenge at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25.

This month-long challengeÌýbrought together over 500 participants including students, staff, faculty and members of the community. Guest speakers will be Boulder-based poet and healerÌýNorma Johnson; Denver visual artist Adri Norris;Ìýand violinist and producer from Denver,ÌýJeff Hughes.

Norma JohnsonÌýuses poetry, storytelling and theater,Ìýincluding her collection Poems for my White Friends, to address racialÌýjustice issues in educational and community settings.Ìý

Adri NorrisÌýas an artist and activist whose art series and project, Women Behaving Badly, showcases influential women from history.Ìý

Jeff HughesÌýis a classically trainedÌýcross-genre violinist and producer who led the violin choir at Elijah McClain's vigil this summer.
