Aerospace Mechanics Research Center

The (formerly the Center for Aerospace Structures) develops innovative analytical models and experiments for the next generation of aerospace structures and systems.

Founded in 1986, the center has gained an international reputation for developing unique design, modeling, and experimental approaches. AMReC is renowned for expertise in multi-physics modeling and optimization of structural systems. Center faculty are also experts in design and experimentation for large deployable structures for space based optics.
