The Outdoor Club features ISSS programming that highlights Colorado destinations and outdoor activities.
- You must complete the ISSS hike surveys no later than the day before each hike. Pay attention to the email you provide in the survey, as hikes may be canceled due to weather or staffing issues.听
Fall 2024 Activities
August 29, 2024 @ 8 a.m.: Red Rock Trail Hike
ISSS is hosting our first fall hike of Fall 2024 on August 29 and we will hike the local Red Rock Trail. ISSS hiking guides will meet international students at the South end of the UMC at 8:00 a.m. and we will take a local bus to the trailhead.
September 14, 2024 @ 8:30 a.m.: Anemone Point Hike
- No experience necessary, but this hike is considered an intermediate hike.
ISSS is hosting our second fall hike of Fall 2024 on September 14th and we will hike Anemone Point. ISSS hiking guides will meet international students at the UMC south quad, next to the white tent. Plan to arrive no later than 8:20am to check-in with the ISSS hiking guides.
October 5, 2024 @ 8:30 a.m.: Mt. Sanitas
- No experience necessary, but this hike is considered an intermediate hike.
ISSS is hosting our final fall hike of Fall 2024 on October 5 and we will hike the lMount Sanitas Trail. ISSS hiking guides will meet international students at the UMC south quad, next to the white tent. Plan to arrive no later than 8:20am to check-in with the ISSS hiking guides.听
